This book is like none other in history. God is the Author.
From beginning to end, this book is about Jesus Christ.
It’s not just one book, but a collection of individual books, in which God communicated through various people.
Here are some highlights to help you see the big picture.

Many begin with Genesis chapters 1-3, then read the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke or John), instead of just beginning on page 1 and reading through the first time. If you have no previous knowledge of the Bible, that might be a good place to start. However, the whole thing is important, and the each part of it helps us understand the other parts, so it is all well worthy of being read.
